Cabell Design Studio, an award winning residential and small commercial design firm, has completed projects across the state of Virginia, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Maryland.

Cabell Design Studio has won multiple awards at the annual Interior Design Excellence Awards ceremonies. In addition, her work has been published in several trade publications, including Southern Living magazine, Home and Design and Richmond Magazine.

Elizabeth Cabell is a professional member of ASID and a Certified Interior Designer. She has passed the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) and has 20 years experience in the interior design field.

As head of the interior design department for Hansen Architects in Savannah, Georgia, Elizabeth served as associate chapter president of the Savannah, Georgia chapter of IIDA (International Interior Design Association) and as a member of the Board of Visitors to FIDER (Foundation of Interior Design Educational Research).

Services Offered

No minimums are required. Projects are reviewed individually and contracts are provided to clarify scope of project and range of services. Concept elevations and floor plans, colored CAD drawings, finish samples and estimated budgets are frequently generated for client review. Hourly or Fixed Fee contracts are available depending on client comfort level and preference.

Awards & Publications

Cabell Design Studio’s Solarium, a room for the 2008 Richmond Symphony Orchestra League show-house, won first place at the 2009 ASID Excellence in Design Awards. The Loggia, a room designed for the 2010 RSOL show house, also won first place. Cabell Design Studio’s work has been published in several regional and national publications including Southern Living, Washington Home & Design and Richmond Magazine.
