Parallel to my interior design career (description below) has been a love of nature and gardening, and many years of "hands-in-the-dirt" experience. As I believe the interior and exterior are ideally a continuum of design, my inclusive services encompass both interior and landscape design. My interior design skills bring a unique perspective to the landscape and outdoor living. Whenever possible and appropriate, I design from the inside-out so to speak, in order to capture important views and incorporate features that otherwise might go unnoticed. My designs blend functionality and aesthetics from the interior to the exterior.

As a choice and direction, my interior design career focus has always included planning, architectural, and technical aspects of interior design as well of the decorative and aesthetic. For a beautiful and functional project solution, the two are often inseparable. My approach to design includes all that goes into building a project, large or small, from its inception to its completion.

My lucky but well earned path landed me in the right spot to enjoy years in commercial interiors practicing in a wide spectrum- corporate, retail, hospitality, and other specialities. Each project and solution is unique. Beautiful and functional designs result from good listening, research, building a team of professionals as needed, and skillful project management.
